I like the house on the outside and what they did on the interior. People can live without OPEN concept and a HUGE island. I would have vetoed the old stove for a new one though. Love the breakfast nook and all the light!

There are companies the refurbish old appliances. The stove would work like new. 🙂

I have three or four Houzz videos that I watch over and over, and this is one of them. I love that they stayed true to the soul and age of the house and didn't make it all sleek and modern! I really love the stove, too.

Ji think they should have removed the wall to the breakfast nook. The kitchen looks squashy and isolating.

I think that I will use many of the elements in my builder special condo to give it some character. I particularly like the subtle but impactful ceiling and wall paint coordination. It is lovely and helps the trim stand out. What was needed, though, to allow for removing a chimney?

Fantastic to see to see the owners work with the original footprint of the house.

If this vintage house matched with our kitchen faucet, it will be more perfect.

Love the warm family feel you created. I want to do a white kitchen. What color white are your cabinets. There r so many whites. Also do you like the latch cabinet knobs? Been on my wish list.

I LOVE that in the end she says that the kitchen is big enough (didn't need to make it bigger) That is such a rare disposition nowdays.. and what a charming, well done renovation!

Love this! And what sweet people 🙂 I think they are as refreshing as their kitchen. Great job on the details and I love the open feeling from the windows and skylight. Bravo!

Nicely done. I really like it. so many times kitchens don't fit with the house. This kitchen looks like it's always been there.

What a charming home. A retro frig (in a pumpkin color like your sweater) would look great in this kitchen for a pretty pop! of color. But, the home is lovely just as it is. Very inviting.
