I treat myself to a bouquet of flowers every week. I live alone, so I figure, if I don't buy them, no one else willπŸ˜‰

I love your tips Ramon! Tidying before bed would be so easy to skip but so impactful. I'll try to get better at this. I love the wine art, your gallery wall, and those amazing flower arrangements! I like to thrift pieces. I find tables, chairs, etc at Habitat or resale stores, and either refinish or paint them to look more expensive.

I just love incorporating greenery i.e garden balls, corner plants etc and I’m a sucker for decorating with gray, black or white and using a splash of color.

I put a bunch of fake flowers around the house in large clear glass vases and put those glass beads/stones at the bottom. Then I spray the flowers with a fruity scented perfume which is similar to the scented plugin air fresheners that I also use around the house. Thanks for the ideas Ramon!

When I first got married I bought a lot of baskets at Pic n Save which is now Big Lots. I also bought a lot of large baskets at the local swap meet. I hung them on the walls and used them to put things into or plants into. Even though I don’t use as many of them now I still have kept some in my garage – when I need them I have them. I also started collecting Large picnic baskets from the 1950s and I use them to store things in. I have some on my fireplace and on shelves above the window.

I make my house look expensive by keeping my chrome appliances shining which includes the sink, the base of my glass bar table, the 2 stools it goes with, the frigde and 2 cabinets. I use baby oil to get better results.
