Love your husband's handiwork 5:17 . Did you know that you can easily edge it with "wood veneer edging" (which can be ironed on or taped on), available in most home improvement stores?

Nice but I’m kinda curious about the stacked washer and dryer. Are they bolted to wall? Is this safe? Do you now have to climb on a ladder to put things in dryer now or use buttons on top of ur phone isn’t in hand ?

Just as a side note, our front loading washing machine was awful; you can’t stop it if you want to add anything to the machine. Also I could never just soak something:

Omgosh!!! You have solved a problem I’ve had since I moved in my house a year & a half ago. My laundry room is a closet and it’s only big enough for the stackable washer and dryer. It’s driven me crazy having my dirty laundry in a spare bedroom. I have the rolling cart thingy with 4 divider bags. I didn’t want to give up the 4 bags, because it makes sorting so much easier, so I’ve been looking at all kinds of baskets that close so the laundry is hidden, but I haven’t liked anything. Not once have thought to build a table around it. It’s so easy that it’s Genius!!! I’m so happy I watched this video. Usually I skip all laundry room makeovers because they just make me sad. I miss having a room, but this.. I think I can do this. Maybe. I’ll try once or 5 times. Lol. Thanks for the idea!

I've been planning to do this very same project in my home. My husband and I were talking about it just yesterday. I want a stackable washer and dryer but I'm afraid that the front loaders will cause too much vibration in my main floor laundry room. Do you find the front loading washer vibrates more than a top loader? Any replies on here would be helpful. I'm considering a "unitized" washer and dryer for this very reason – the washer would be a top loader. 😀

I love you and your mom. I’m even subscribed to Design Sessions. And I usually love all of your videos but this one just seems like an infomercial for Samsung. 😢

My hubby works as an appliance tech… You can't pay me enough to use Samsung unless you're willing to pay an arm and a leg to fix it … They do have the latest technology but at what cost. I've had just about any brand of washer and dryer and guess what, I finally got a 20 yr old top loader that's built like a tank, never breaks and washes like a dream. Once you figure out that looks can only get you so far when washing clothes…

****ATTENTION: One of the big issues with the IOT (Internet of Things) is that appliances like your fridge, Google, Alexa, thermostats, doorbells with cameras, etc. is they provide an unguarded "open door" to your home's computer network that allow hackers to easily gain access to your personal information on any computers on your homes network. By using these unprotected appliances they are able to bypass your network's firewalls, and any other protections you have in place in order to steel your identities and more.

Just remember a front loader washer needs more care. Where the rubber rim is where the door closes needs to be wiped clean and dry after every use. Leave the door open after use to help dry it and avoid rust. Hope this helps! 😁

Hi there, great video!! How would you design a laundry room/Sunroom where it's all one long narrow room? I want to enjoy the sunroom without looking at the washer and dryer. Please any suggestion that aren't expensive
